Empathetic Leader: Our Journey of Organizational Change

Our Story of Change

Last October, we launched a series of workshops under the theme “Empathetic Leader.” Our initial goal was clear: to improve efficiency and strengthen communication within our organization. What followed, however, went far beyond operational improvements.

It became a time of deeper reflection, openness, and honest conversations. As a team, we began to better understand not only our strengths, but also the areas where we needed to grow. Creating space for this kind of dialogue allowed us to build stronger relationships and a more conscious approach to leadership.

One of the key topics we explored was empathy—and how to make it a real, living part of our organization. We looked for its place within the core values that guide our company: Development, Innovation, Reliability, and Stability. Over time, it became clear that empathy doesn’t just complement these values—it strengthens each of them.

Communication Across a Distributed Organization

As a company operating across the entire country, with service and projects delivered nationwide, one of our biggest challenges has always been communication between departments and locations.

That’s why improving how we connect, share feedback, and collaborate became a priority—not just internally, but also in how we deliver value to our clients through our solutions.

Going Deeper: From Awareness to Practice

In February this year, we met again in the Polish mountains. This time bringing with us the knowledge and experiences we had already gained. This next stage allowed us to go deeper.

We focused on understanding and redefining feedback:

  • how to give it in a constructive and clear way,
  • how to receive it openly, regardless of hierarchy,
  • and how to turn it into a practical tool for growth rather than criticism.

This shift helped us move from theory into everyday practice—making communication more intentional, structured, and effective.

Learning That Translates Into Action

We would like to sincerely thank the facilitators—Michal Sosin (Me-How) and Bartosz Berendt—for their inspiring sessions, openness, and commitment.

It was a time filled with valuable exchanges, positive energy, and practical insights that we are already applying in our daily leadership work.

What We’ve Learned

Building an effective team is not only about processes, goals, or performance metrics. It’s about people—how they communicate, how they understand each other, and how they grow together.

Today, we operate at a high pace, facing constant challenges. But instead of slowing us down, these challenges motivate us. Thanks to better communication, stronger trust, and a shared value system, we are better equipped to act effectively as a team.
